General Puja

General Puja refers to a simple and traditional Hindu worship ritual performed to show reverence and devotion to a chosen deity, based on the devotee's faith and intention. Unlike complex Vedic rituals, General Puja is easy to perform and is commonly done daily at home or during special occasions such as festivals, birthdays, or religious events. The puja follows a basic structure that includes invoking the deity, offering flowers, lighting incense and a lamp, chanting mantras, and presenting Naivedya (food offering). The ritual concludes with Aarti, a devotional song accompanied by waving a lit lamp.
